False Profit Expanding to Northwestern Nevada

Subsuming the Monkey vs Robot moniker, False Profit, LLC will head to Burningman this year with a registered theme camp under our own name for the first time in our five-year history on the playa. The Company recognizes that our loyal investors demand the consistency and reliability of the False Profit brand, and are determined to bring BRC citizens the highest quality in our products and services.

- Howweird Street Faire
Kicking off summer by reclaiming urban space in a more literal fashion, False Profit provided a living room for the street fair. Thanks to Chris Sia for controlling the weather with his mind, and to Adam Ohana and Michelle Bass for standout sets.

- Dividend (Fourth Thursdays)
In April, Haj from New York and Trav graced the decks at Nickie’s. Last month we were joined by Ethan Miller and Dov. Look for Dov’s new track with an-ten-nae on the B side of Kraddy’s new release on Muti later this month! Thanks to all the DJs, dancers, and drinkers for re-investing yourselves.

- Convocation, June 18
An all-live dub event, this is the San Francisco stop of the Ambient Alchemy Tour. It will also be the first event in the new Soap Factory Annex, next door to our new headquarters. With Shulman, Bluetech, Alex Theory, Phutureprimative, Shen, and Androcell playing, this show is where no dub fears to tread. Details at http://false-profit.com/events/convocation

False Profit’s monthly party rocks another Thursday at Nickie’s BBQ. Unlike the weather, you can count on this night to be a hot one.

- False Walls, July 10
An extrospective looking through the eyes of seven photographers you probably know: Aaron Beachnau, Alexander Warnow, Alison Bank, Andrea Brooks, Maria McLaughlin, Loren Earle-Cruickshanks, and Freda Banks. This will be the first event at our newly reconstructed headquarters, the False Profit Soap Factory. Stay tuned for the details.
